Welcome to the blog for Prof. John Talbird's English 201 class. The purpose of this site is two-fold: 1) to continue the conversations we start in class (or to start conversations BEFORE we get to class) and 2) to practice our writing/reading on a weekly basis in an informal forum.

ABC Story

“Are you listening to me?” said Becky.
“BECKY LEAVE ME ALONE!” said the guy.
“Can you hear me!?” Said Becky. “Don’t speak to me!” said the guy.
“Everyone is looking at you crazy Becky, please STOP!”
“Forget about me, why don’t you?” “Go ahead!” “Hurt me and hurt me and hurt me again.” “…In a few days I’ll disappear.”
“Just stop.” Said the guy looking highly annoyed.
“Karma is a bitch!”
“Look you don’t have to be so dramatic.”
“Move away from me.”
“No, I won’t leave you like this.”
“Open your heart to me then.” “Please don’t make me question your sincerity?”
“Question my sincerity?”
“Rescue me.” “Save me.” Said Becky.
“Take this instead.” The guy hands over his military pendant to Becky.
“Um?” I said. Veiling my tears, I was heartbroken. “Whenever you need me, I’ll always be here.” “Xenial, you are.” Said the guy. “You are an angel.
” Zooming off in my car; I left my heart lying there shattered in pieces.
